Our History
Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Medical College (MBBSMC) was established in 2012 as a government-funded medical institution in Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Named after the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, the college was founded to address the healthcare education needs of the region.
Recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), MBBSMC has grown to become one of the premier medical institutions in AJK, with a strong commitment to producing competent and ethical physicians who serve communities across Pakistan and beyond.
Our affiliated teaching hospital provides students with extensive clinical exposure across all major medical and surgical specialties, ensuring they graduate with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
